We are excited to announce that in addition to the Dutch debate, Trivium opens the possibility of debating in English on every Tuesday night! To run an American Parliament debate, we need a minimum of five people to be present. If this condition is not met, the debate will be cancelled.
To be able to inform English debaters in advance about whether or not the English debate will take place, we have set up a system where debaters can sign up via a Google form. Registration closes at 11 AM on the day of the debate night. If enough debaters have signed up, you will be informed that the debate in English will take place. If not, you will be informed that the debate is cancelled.
After the debate, we will go for a drink together. Trivium also organizes several socials, where you can meet up with both international and Dutch students.
The first English debating night will take place at 6.45 PM on October 6th in the Erasmus building (E3.01). Registration closes on October 6th, 11 AM.
